COVID-19 Considerations
At Dabble & Dollop, our #1 concern is for the safety of our customers, your families and our society as a whole. We know you’ve likely been inundated with emails regarding organizations’ and companies’ responses to the COVID-19 pandemic, so we’ll do our best to keep our message to you short. But, we feel obligated to let you know what steps we are taking to ensure our products reach you and your children safely.
First, Dabble & Dollop has an inventory of previously manufactured product and a US-based supply chain. Our inventory means we do not anticipate any supply issues for the next several months. In fact, we are preparing to launch new a product line in the next week or so (bath bombs) and believe we’ll launch four new gel scents for our 3-in-1 line in mid-April (blueberry, coconut, honeydew melon and lemon). We feel confident in our ability to deliver great products to you and your families in the weeks and months ahead.
Second, our products were created in world-class manufacturing facilities that use cosmetic and food-grade level clean rooms as part of their core operations. We took the extra step to invest in product stability testing, tear-free certification, and conducted significant non-animal based testing to ensure product mildness. We are confident that we’ve taken as many steps as possible to create a clean, safe, and long lasting product even prior to this global crisis.
Third, our inventory is warehoused and distributed through a Southern California-based partner handling many other large-scale national cosmetic and personal care brands. This distributor is classified as an “essential business” and works for a number of government agencies in addition to their private clients. They are taking extra steps to ensure product safety including: all employees are required to frequently sanitize hands, work surfaces are disinfected more frequently and thoroughly, and they are following workplace guidelines set forth by the CDC and the State of California.
Our great partners now allow us to work from home (see our social media feed for our three new “employees”) and let us follow the State of California’s “Safer at Home” mandate.
Fourth, we are seeing that “hand sanitizer” as a growing search term on our site. Please note, Dabble & Dollop does not contain alcohol or ingredients such as triclosan, which may be used in hand sanitizers and anti-microbial soaps. That said, we think our products make hand washing a lot of fun and we have been using them at the sink in our guest bathroom for some time with rave reviews! So while your washing hands more than ever, give us a shot!
Finally, as a small business, and a rather new startup, your support makes a very big difference for our little company. We appreciate you patronizing businesses like ours and encourage you to do the same for other small businesses – whether online or local. Keeping that small business engine running will go a long way towards our nation’s recovery.
