OUR INGREDIENTS

I've spent nearly three decades in the natural ingredients space! 

As CEO of a personal care ingredient supplier and mother of three, I was frustrated with brands using unnecessary ingredients to "pump up" their formulas. After selling our family business, I knew I had the chance to create safe, effective, fun products using only what's needed to keep kids safe and clean.

I launched Dabble & Dollop in 2019 with a “less is more” mission. We hand-selected fewer, better, more effective USA-based ingredient manufacturers to create products that are second to none in terms of purity, quality...and of course, safety.

Natural Fragrance Transparency

IT'S WHAT'S INSIDE THAT COUNTS

Our proprietary recipes feature all natural transparent scents that are USA-made, plant-derived, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, cruelty-free, phthalate-free, SLS-free, paraben-free, nut-free and never more than ten ingredients.  All of our washes are fully tested to be certified tear free by ophthalmologists, and our washes and lotions are clinically tested with dermatologists to be non-irritating and ultra-mild for the most sensitive skin types. The recipes are also designed for the pH of little ones, which is 5.5.  We must help preserve their microbiome and it is critical that the pH of our products be balanced to meet the child’s skin pH.

Dabble & Dollop uses 100% naturally derived, sustainably-sourced, plant-based ingredients as well as natural, hypoallergenic fragrances.

Our 3-in-1 products and our Cherry on Top Conditioner are 100% dye-free and our 100% natural bath bombs use natural colorants (clays, oxides, oils) to achieve their subtle fresh colors.

We are proud to say that we use 100% all-natural scents in all our products. What does that mean though?

With all that said, we do understand that some children (and adults) have a hyper-sensitivity to fragrance and/or oils of any kind. If that is the case, we are sorry, but Dabble & Dollop’s scented products may not be the best choice for your family. You might be better off considering our Fragrance-Free Infant Care products.

No. Never! We do not use parabens or phthalates in any of our products.

Developing non-irritating products for kids is our #1 goal. It was critical that we could ensure our products would not be irritating to skin or eyes, therefore, we engaged a third party laboratory to conduct safety testing comprised of a six week HRIPT (Human Repeated Insult Patch Testing) as well as eye sting test for the tear-free claim. We have been thrilled to hear from many customers that our products are the most gentle they have ever used. Our 3-in-1 products and conditioners are dermatologist tested ultra-mild, ophthalmologist-tested Certified Tear-Free, Leaping Bunny Certified Cruelty-Free and feature all natural scents and aromas that are free of known-allergens. If your child has a skin condition such as psoriasis or atopic dermatitis, we recommend you use extra caution when using any cosmetic product as skin when compromised is more likely to become irritated.
